Edinburgh U.S.A. – A Twin Cities Jewel
Edinburgh USA is a great public golf course designed and created by Robert Trent Jones II and operated by the Brooklyn Park Recreation and Parks Department. It is a Scottish design with nearly 70 bunkers and 12 acres of water featuring an island fairway, a peninsula green, and one of the world’s largest putting surfaces. The 40,000 square foot triple green combines holes 9 and 18, and the practice green.
Many unique elements of this course – the winding lakes, undulating greens, beautifully manicured bentgrass fairways, the eye-catching “island hole” and mind-boggling triple green – have all helped Edinburgh USA in earning the reputation as one of the finest golf courses around!
In addition, Edinburgh USA was named by Golf Digest as one of “America’s Top 75 Affordable Courses,” and by Golf Magazine as one of the “Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S.” Edinburgh USA has also hosted seven LPGA Tour events, and the 1992 U.S.G.A. Public Links Championship.
