Nothing Like a Guys or Gals Golf Getaway in Brainerd

Who doesn’t love a good getaway with the guys or gals?  Among the best areas in Minnesota to get away is the Brainerd Lakes Area.  What makes it a perfect destination is it’s location, just about two and a half hours from the Twin Cities airport and unbelievable golf and lodging in a concentrated area. 

If you’re trying to slam in a bunch of rounds over a couple of days, you need to check out the Brainerd Lakes area. Among the highlights are the courses at Grand View Lodge, Madden’s on Gull Lake and Golden Eagle in Fifty Lakes.  Specifically, you’ve got to hit Deacon’s Lodge, The Classic at Madden’s, The Pines  and The Preserve.  The Brainerd Golf Trail offers some great options as well to round out an ideal golf weekend.  All of these three resorts have a varied and exceptionally challenging, yet playable, courses.  Man, woman or child, you’d have a hard time playing these tracks and not be blown away by the setting.

Leave the kids at home with your spouse, grab your buddies and tear it up in the Brainerd area this summer.  Just remember turnabout is fair play and we hope to see your “other” half on the course this year as well.
